Obviously Obama

Willing to bring change to Washington, the young, hip, handsome, husband, father, African American Senator from Illinois and anti-war candidate, Barack Hussein Obama -- in a monstrous avalanche of faith -- is now the 44th President of the United States.

With a smart president now at the helm, we'll be entering a new era that'll offer decency over hubris, peace over war, intelligence over beliefs, cures over band aids, openness over secrecy, enlightenment over faith, and creativity over the status quo.

And he brings us hope -- hope that he'll return our country to the people, work towards peace, restore our reputation and dignity to the world community, uphold human rights, return lost jobs, repair the economy, offer low cost and affordable housing, make guaranteed health care a right, develop new forms of renewable energy, commit to clean technology, create sustainable industry, build a green collar workforce, and fight climate change.

While we're reveling in this great moment -- joyfully speechless and aware of a palpable sense of renewal -- we can all expel a long and well-deserved breath of relief. And by doing so, we can collectively and metaphorically watch the lifeless, fallow land of the past eight years, transform into fields of opportunities that blossom, meadows of chance that flower, pastures of possibility that thrive, grasslands of likelihood that grow and an entire countryside of potential to flourish... on a new day, under a new sun, with our new president.
