Octomom Abuse Allegations: Former Nannies Claim Child Sexually Abused Sibling (UPDATE)

Octomom's Former Nannies Claim Child Sexually Abused Sibling

Two former nannies who worked for Nadya Suleman, better known as "Octomom," have made serious allegations against the mother of 14, claiming they witnessed child neglect and sexual abuse in the pseudo-celebrity's home.

Both former employees wish to remain nameless out of fear of litigious retaliation from Suleman, CBS2 reports, but say they decided to come forward because the abuse escalated. The women are alleging that Suleman tied her eight newborn children to their beds with cheese cloths around their waists to keep them in their cribs.

They also claim Suleman blocked a door with a chair from the outside for hours because she didn’t want the children to bother her while she napped. Photos obtained by TMZ several months ago show a chair blocking a door in Octomom's home, but Suleman claimed the children had an exit and were never in danger.

But the most serious claims allege that Suleman allowed her six older children, who range in age from 6 to 11, to physically abuse the younger ones. The younger children had black eyes and bruises, and one of the nannies told La Habra police detectives that she also witnessed sexual abuse from the children, CBS2 reports.

A representative for Suleman told The Huffington Post that none of the allegations are true and said that one of the women making the allegations "became obsessed with the children and contacted me to help her write a book." Suleman's rep said both women claiming to be former nannies are good friends and are just trying to make money.

"This is why Nadya chose to move far away. The woman has been stalking Nadya, calling the kids and texting Nadya threatening text messages that she would go to police unless Nadya brought her the children," her rep said in an email. "Nadya will be going after the two women for slander."

Suleman gave birth to her octuplets in 2009, and the two nannies say they witnessed abuse and neglect as early as 2010, but rather than going to the police they instead wrote an anonymous letter and placed it in every mailbox on Suleman's street, asking to have social services check out the home.

La Habra police have investigated the allegations and plan to send the case to the Orange County D.A. in the next several days, TMZ reports. No charges have been filed at this time.

Raising 14 children as a single mom hasn't been easy for Suleman, who turned to pornography and stripping earlier this year to support her large family.

In September it was reported that Suleman used the money she made from her first adult video," Octomom: Home Alone," to rent a house in Palmdale, Calif. According to TMZ, Suleman pays $2,150 per month in rent for the five-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a 14,000-square-foot backyard.

UPDATE: According to TMZ, the Orange County D.A.'s Office has rejected all the allegation made against Nadya Suleman, including the allegation that one of her children was sexually abusing a sibling. The D.A. declined to move forward with charges after concluding there was insufficient evidence to warrant further action.
