Osama Bin Laden Death Still Restricting Access To Air Force Academy Biking Trails

Osama bin Laden Nixes Biking At U.S. Air Force Academy (VIDEO)

Osama bin Laden may have been killed two months ago, but he's still terrorizing the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Heightened security measures resulting from his death have restricted access to the Academy's world-class mountain biking trails, roads, and other attractions.

Colorado Springs blog 'Out There Colorado' reports that access to the trails will be restricted indefinitely. After the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001, public access to Academy trails was suspended for 5 years.

24-Hours of Colorado Springs, a national-level mountain bike race scheduled for early October on the Academy's Falcon trail, will likely have to be moved.

Alan Keefe rode Air Force Academy trails in April.
