Lieutenant Ian James Brown exemplifies perseverance. As a person with a physical disability, he has overcome an amazing physical challenge in a very short period of time.

His military training has helped in his recovery, attitude and his future goals in a medical career. Our Ability had the opportunity to hear about Lieutenant Brown from our friends at the Kessler Institute. We are happy to share his story:

Lieutenant Brown was a parachute and skydiving specialist at the Air Force Academy. He graduated in 1999. He was paralyzed in an accident in 2002.

As our military veterans return from service in the next few years, Our Ability intends to tell as many stories as possible. It is estimated that nearly one million veterans will be looking for employment and education, we believe it's important to continue to tell the stories as our veterans transition home.

Please join us and share this -- as well as our future military stories -- with as many people as possible.
