Parents Hilariously Reenact Daughter's Selfies With Boyfriend

Couple selfies have never looked so good.

Ah, young love. It pretty much begs to be documented on social media -- where your parents can see it and give it a hilarious twist.

Like so many new couples, Emily Musson, a student at LIM College in New York City, has documented her relationship with her boyfriend Johnny in the form of selfies. After seeing the photos, her parents, Nancy and Craig, decided to take some cute shots of their own.

Emily told The Huffington Post via email that she "laughed out loud" when she first saw the photos her parents recreated. She posted them along with the original photos featuring her and her boyfriend on Twitter, where they have been retweeted more than 49,000 times and favorited more than 65,000 times since Sept. 8. According to Emily, the funny reenactments fit well with her mom’s sense of humor.

"My friends suggested I make a Twitter or Instagram account for pictures/things she says," she told HuffPost. "She's always so ridiculous on the Internet and it's definitely humorous, and enjoyable."

If these photos are any indication of her humor, we totally support that idea.
