Protesters Concerned Paris Agreement Doesn't Go Far Enough

As global leaders hailed the climate agreement as a historic step forward, some activists were less optimistic.

As the Paris climate negotiations ended yesterday, leaders from around the world hailed it as a historic step forward in the battle to limit carbon emissions and curb global warming. Protesters on the street, however, were far less optimistic, concerned that plans could be swayed by corporate interests.

In the midst of a nationwide state of emergency in France that followed last month’s terrorist attacks, activists flooded the streets of Paris to demand serious action on climate change. TakePart contributor Olga Kravets found out what they had to say.
