Michigan GOP Candidate Touts His Crossbow Skills In New Ad

Paul Mitchell, the former head of Ross Education, LLC and a candidate in Michigan's Republican primary looking to fill the seat of retiring Rep. David Camp (R-Mich.), released a new television ad on Tuesday highlighting some of his more unique attributes -- including shooting a crossbow.

Mitchell first touts his record as a job creator in the state, but then goes on to say, "If that's not enough, I can shoot a crossbow and play the accordion -- just not at the same time."

"We need more job-creating, crossbow-shooting, accordion-playing outsiders in Congress," Mitchell concludes.

Mitchell will face off against businessman Peter Konetchy and state Sen. John Moolenaar in the GOP primary on August 5.

The winner of that primary will presumably run against physician Jeff Holmes in the general election, as Holmes is the only Democrat on the ballot.
