PetSmart Manager Returns $30,000 Diamond Found In Store (VIDEO)

It's the nightmare of any married woman: looking down and seeing no diamond in the ring on her left hand.

That's what happened recently to Katie Sattler when she was driving home from PetSmart, ABC News 25 reports. The diamond in her engagement ring, valued at around $30,000, was nowhere to be found.

Frantically, Sattler called the PetSmart where she was just shopping with her dogs and spoke with Jeff Lamscha, the store's manager.

"It sounded like someone was sobbing or crying, and I wasn’t sure what it was," Lamscha told The Huffington Post. "She told me the diamond had fallen out of her ring in the store somewhere, and she didn’t know what to do."

Thankfully, after a quick look around the store, Lamscha found Sattler's diamond. The manager, who has worked at Petsmart for four and a half years, said that it never even occurred to him to keep it.

"I had a lady on the phone crying to me, all I wanted to do was help her out," he said.

Lamscha said that Sattler and her husband couldn't have been more grateful when they arrived to the store to retrieve the lost diamond.

In February, Billy Ray Harris, a homeless man, returned an engagement ring that a woman had accidentally dropped in his donation cup. People have been so inspired by his generosity that over $100,000 has been donated to Harris since he returned the ring.
