Princes William and Harry joined the working folk, as they suited up to turn stockbrokers for the day on Wednesday. But while landing multi-billion dollar deals seems like quite the royal diversion, it was all for a charity event marking the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
For the BGC Partners Charity Day, Harry and Wills hit the trading floor, phones in hand, to negotiate deals over the telephone to unsuspecting traders. They even sealed a foreign exchange deal for €25 billion. Will's response? "Bloody hell, was that a billion?!"
While the Duke of Cambridge chatted on the line, Harry took the opportunity to poke fun at his older brother. "He's on the phone, it's all baby chat. I'm much better at helicopter chat," he said, insinuating that the new dad was gabbing about Prince George.
And while Will reportedly lollygagged on the phone with a female trader, cheeky Harry quipped, "Stop flirting, get on with it."
Royals say the darndest things sometimes. Or at least it sure looks that way. Check out the photos of Will and Harry doing their best "trader" impressions below. Seems like the perfect opportunity for a game of "caption this," no?
