Al Gore made a hilarious cameo appearance on this week's "30 Rock". In it, he pokes fun at his "save the earth" image while still managing to get a few messages across about the importance of thinking green. Although Alec Baldwin's character is a staunch conservative, Baldwin himself has publicly expressed his desire to see a Gore 2008 campaign. Maybe if Gore showed this much life in 2000 his presidency would be wrapping up soon, there would be peace on earth, and Ellen's hairdresser would have her dog back.

Tyra Banks devoted Monday's show to the second most important subject besides herself, the vagina. She educated the "Tyra" audience with a velvet vagina puppet, accompanied a 28-year-old to her first gynecologist visit, and shared several vagina-related tips that she learned from her mother. According to Tyra's mom, "You don't need douche because the vagina is a self-cleaning oven." Good to know. In the end, the audience left with new knowledge of the all powerful vagina and teenage boys left very disappointed. Keep your chins up guys, maybe "Tyra's Breast Fest" is soon to follow.

With the writers' strike showing no end in sight, we might be seeing a lot more game shows flooding our airwaves in the coming months. We'll be in luck if any of them are half as creative as this Japanese creation, where contestants must contort their bodies to fit through awkward cut-out shapes in a giant moving wall. We have to give credit to "Ellen" for finding this latest Asian game show craze. Maybe she can put some of that crazy syndication money into an American version of this awesome show.

And Vince Vaughn was all over the talks show circuit this week. While co-hosting "Live with Regis and Kelly", actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers made some extraordinarily awkward comments about his "Tudors" sex scenes. It seems they're sisterly, and we're not talking about nuns here.
