Alarmed by the intense sense of pressure her daughter felt to succeed in school, Vicki Abeles made a documentary film exploring students' stress.
Abeles realized that many children and teens are overwhelmed by the pressure placed on them by schools, parents, even themselves, to excel on tests and get into top colleges.
In her documentary, "Race To Nowhere," Abeles takes a look into students' lives and how trying to succeed can cause them to cheat, suffer from depression and panic attacks, and commit suicide.
CNN's Steve Perry interviewed Abeles about her film.
