Rachel Zoe has made almost as big of a name for herself in television as she has in fashion with her reality show "The Rachel Zoe Project." But if giving people a glimpse into her real life wasn't enough, the new mom has now decided to portray a fictional version of her career and marriage in a primetime sitcom.
The stylist to the stars (Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz and Anne Hathaway are just a few of her clients) and her husband Rodger Berman have just sold a comedy to NBC based on her life, Deadline.com reports. The couple will be executive producing the series, but they'll leave the writing and directing to Aseem Batra and Todd Holland, respectively.
Even though Rach and Rodg aren't taking on writing duties themselves, we're still assuming the word "babe" will be used enough to make a drinking game as it is on her current Bravo show. But will the new project address her dramatic split with Brad Goreski? We're keeping our fingers crossed that it will at least reveal a few style secrets from her famous clientele.
Funny enough, the news comes just after Tyra Banks announced her forthcoming autobiographical comedy "Fivehead" that will air on ABC -- there's always someone ahead of you in the fashion industry, isn't there? But the real question is: are you interested in a fictional version of these public figures' lives? Or should they stick to the reality niche they've each carved out for themselves?
