Radiohead On Tour: Band Announces First Extensive Set Of U.S. Tour Dates Since 2008

Radiohead Announces Extensive U.S. Tour Dates

The moment you've waited three years for has finally arrived. Radiohead announced their first extensive U.S. tour since 2008's In Rainbows tour via their website Monday, with 10 dates running through March, and more to come.

The tour -- the first for their latest album, The King of Limbs -- will begin on Feb. 27 in Miami, FL, with dates running through March 15 in Glendale, AZ. It will wind from Florida to Georgia, Texas, Missouri, Colorado and Arizona. Other Lives, an indie band from Oklahoma, described as "dynamic, orchestral pop," will support the band on these dates.

Back in October, Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien told BBC 6Music that they'll be on tour for the majority of 2012: "We'll be on the road from the end of February to November and we’ll be playing in both the UK and US, the usual ports of call."

This tour will be "different" from their last tour, O'Brien continued. "Last time we went out it felt very much like In Rainbows and a greatest hits... this time it's going to be predominantly from this record and the last record and then see which songs fit around that."

Tickets go on sale beginning Nov. 12 (excepting the Feb. 29 date in Tampa, FL, which will go on sale Nov. 19), with a four-ticket limit per person. The W.A.S.T.E. fan presale will begin Nov. 9.

Now if Ticketmaster will just get it together, maybe we can actually have a shot at some tickets.
