Conniving, scheming, pint-sized and baggy-eyed.
That's one interpretation of the way Conan O'Brien characterized Chicago Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in a video spot during Saturday's annual White House Correspondents' Dinner in D.C. (embedded above)

Most of the jokes on political power players like Secretary of State John Kerry and Fox News President Roger Ailes were simple sight gags, though plenty can be read into O'Brien's comparison of Emanuel to a certain diabolical "Family Guy" character.
Though he left life on the Beltway for a crack at governing the Windy City, Emanuel is still considered by many to be a power player in Washington — hence his inclusion in the comedian's spoof based on the popular Netflix miniseries, "House of Cards," which had its own brilliant parody during the night.
Per the WHCD host's duties, O'Brien roasted President Barack Obama, cracking on everything from his graying hair to his struggle with Congress. One of the city's famous hot dog joints got a nod when the late-night comedian noted how the 2012 election night festivities were scaled way down from Obama's thrilling first-term win in 2008.
"On election night in 2008, you celebrated with hundreds of thousands of people in Chicago's Grant Park," O'Brien said. "This time around, you split a Char Dog with David Axelrod at the Wiener Circle."
Beyond politicians, O'Brien took jabs at plenty of journalists and media organizations like CNN, NPR, Politico and naturally, HuffPost. Apparently, he doesn't much like our take on bacon.
