Rankin Live Benefits Oxfam @ Milk

Rankin put out an APB for unique New Yorkers (say that 10 times fast) and the results are amazing. Each participant donates $100 to Oxfam. Fortunately I was selected to be one of the subjects... and my little dog, too.

Once again, photographer Rankin brings his iconic portrait photography to life with the Rankin Live spectacle currently under way in New York City. Rankin and his team have taken up residence at Milk Studios, where they are shooting a marathon series of portraits over the course of five days, live in the gallery space. Showcasing the latest in photographic technology, the images will then be retouched and exhibited within 20 minutes of the shutter firing. Rankin put out an APB for unique New Yorkers (say that 10 times fast) and the results are amazing. Each participant donates $100 to Oxfam. Fortunately I was selected to be one of the subjects... and my little dog, too. The exhibit is fantastic, with or without me, and worth a visit. Rankin Live is a global initiative committed to raising funds for the charity. The next stops are Los Angeles and Mexico City.
