'Goodfellas' Helps Ray Liotta Scare His Daughter's Boyfriends

The classic mob film "Goodfellas" is an unforgettable piece of cinema history, and 24 years later, it has one very practical use to star Ray Liotta: frightening his daughter's potential dates.

During a conversation with HuffPost Live's Ricky Camilleri about his new film "The Identical," which hits theaters Sept. 5, Liotta chatted about the iconic Martin Scorsese film and said that it's become more useful to him personally as the movie reaches younger and younger male audiences.

"It scares the scrap out of them when they come over for my daughter," Liotta said. "They think I'm a nut job, and then I play right into it."

The actor also reminisced about the film's unforgettable tracking shot, which follows Liotta's character as he enters the Copacabana nightclub.
