Red Line Running After Woman Falls On Tracks

The Red Line is running again after being stopped for nearly 30 minutes Friday morning when a woman fell on the tracks at the Cermak Station.

The woman fell onto the tracks around 7:50 a.m., a CTA spokeswoman told the Tribune. She was not hit by a train and did not touch the electrified third rail, the paper reported.

Service was restored by 8:20 a.m., but the CTA says there are still some service delays.
