It's almost time to head to the Election Day polls and fill out those ballots. The 2016 Presidential Campaign has felt longer and more divisive than most, but there's nothing that brings people together better than food and drinks!
Whether you're voting red or blue, here are nine patriotic colored drinks and dishes we can all rally around:

Representing all three colors of the American flag, the Opia cocktail at Knife is a blend of Amontillado sherry with blueberry-shiitake cordial, egg white, and lime. The rich sherry complements the fruity, salinity of the other ingredients.

One of New York's most popular red-sauce joints, Carbone dishes out a notable veal parmesan -- think tender meat under silky buffalo mozzarella cheese and fresh tomato sauce.

One of our favorite cocktails to crop up on the scene in summer 2016, Little Hut on Mitchell Road is a red, white, and blue creation from Tavern Road's Beverage Director, Tenzin Samdo. Made with Privateer Rum (distilled locally in Ipswich, Massachusetts), Merlet Lune d'Abricot (brandy), blue orgeat (almond syrup), coco-pineapple milk, and Peychaud's Bitters, the drink tastes as delicious as it looks.

If you're looking to satisfy both sweet and savory cravings, Grange Hall's Berries and Brie Burger, made from Tallgrass Beef Company's grass-fed beef, is the right choice. The patty is topped with brie, arugula, mixed berry compote, Dijon aioli, and a red wine balsamic reduction.

Decorated with hot red peppers for an extra kick, the Maccheroni alla Mugnaia at Le Virtu is prepared as one 60-foot single-strand, a hand-pulled piece of pasta with garlic, extra-virgin olive oil, and pecorino.

A classic breakfast staple, the granola at Orto e Mare is housemade and served with Maple Hill Creamery Greek yogurt and Amarene cherries (bitter, dark colored Italian cherry).

The Young One, a refreshing vodka-based cocktail, boasts a reddish-pink glow from its mixture of fresh raspberries, campari (a dark red liqueur made from infused herbs and fruit), lemon, basil, and sparkling spritz.

A spicy, comforting dish that'll (momentarily) abate any pre-Election Day anxiety, the Red Curry with King Prawns at The Lucky Bee is made with apple eggplant, roasted bell pepper, and thai basil.

Fresh strawberries and homemade cream make for a simple yet delightfully sweet way to end a meal.
