Understandably, many Redskins fans had apparently seen enough after the first half against the Chiefs at FedEx Field. With the weather poor and the team worse, the stands seemed to have emptied dramatically by the start of the third quarter.

Washington fell behind Kansas City 31-0 before finally getting on the board late in the second quarter. Shortly before halftime, CBS cameras showed a wide view of a stadium that looked like much of the crowd had seen enough.

By the start of the third quarter, the crowd seemed to have thinned out even further. Dan Steinberg of DC Sports Bog tweeted images of the emptying stadium.

Any celebration of Washington finally reaching the end zone late in the second quarter was short as Kansas City's Quintin Demps returned the ensuing kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown. It was the second special teams touchdown the Redskins gave up in the game.
