America's 10 Richest Metropolitan Areas

Some U.S. metropolitan areas are far richer than others, according to a new report from the Census Bureau. For example, 14.1 percent of households in the Washington, D.C., area are in the top 5 percent of incomes nationwide, while just 3.9 percent of San Antonio-area households are in the top 5 percent. Incidentally, the richest metropolitan areas are all on the country's coasts.
