The first "Rio" found Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) relocating from his home in Minnesota to Rio de Janeiro, where he fell in love with Jewel (Anne Hathaway). Now Blu and the crew are trying to "connect with their roots" by visiting the Amazon rainforest. In the process, they encounter Jewel's long-lost father (Andy Garcia) and their old nemesis Nigel (Jemaine Clement).
Leslie Mann, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx, will.i.am and Tracy Morgan will reprise their roles in "Rio 2," which is slated for an April 11, 2014, release.
