Roger Of 'American Dad' Crowned LOGO's 'Gayest Cartoon Of All Time'

Look Who Was Crowned The Gayest Cartoon Of All Time...

Last month, we brought you news of a LOGO TV tournament for those of us who often feel left out of the annual March Madness college basketball frenzy: " The Gayest Cartoon Character Of All Time" competition.

After weeks of intense online voting and various queer (or queer-ish) cartoons being pitted against one another, a winner has finally been chosen: Roger from "American Dad"!

"I'd like to thank everyone that voted for me. And I'd like to personally thank every MAN who voted for me… Tonight. Within a twelve mile radius,” said Roger in a statement.

The "Gayest Cartoon Character of All Time" tournament was a bracket-style competition involving 32 iconic queer cartoon characters. LOGO TV said in a previous statement to The Huffington Post that the featured characters ranged from "out-and-proud toons," such as “South Park’s” Big Gay Al, to those who have always left us scratching our heads, such as “Scooby Doo’s” Velma. These initial 32 characters were chosen from an intense round of polling through The Backlot and NewNowNext to determine the baseline group of contenders.

The full tournament results can be found here.
