Sarah Palin CPAC Speech Hits 'All-Drama Obama' Over Background Checks (VIDEO)

Palin Addresses Conservative Issues At CPAC

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin addressed the 2013 Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday, starting her speech with some remarks about gun control.

Palin spoke out against background checks for gun purchases, taking a jab at President Barack Obama in the process.

"More background checks?" Palin asked. "Dandy idea, Mr. President -- should've started with yours."

That wasn't Palin's only hit at the president during her remarks at the annual conference.

"Remember no-drama Obama?" Palin said. "If only. Now it's all-drama Obama."

Later in her speech, the former Republican vice presidential hopeful criticized a lack of transparency in the Obama administration.

"Barack Obama promsied the most transparent administration ever," Palin said. "Barack Obama, you lie."

Palin later received a standing ovation after hitting Obama over his teleprompter use.

"Step away from the teleprompter and do your job," Palin said.
