Sarah Palin Week Kicks Off In The Media

It's now officially Sarah Palin week in the media.

With the publication of her Going Rogue set for Tuesday, Palin appears on Monday's "Oprah" and will appear in a five-part interview with Barbara Walters for ABC News. The Walters interview will air on "Good Morning America," "World News," and "Nightline" Tuesday, continue on "GMA" Wednesday, and conclude on "20/20" Friday night.

The New York Post reports that Palin is also expected to drop by Fox News for an interview with Sean Hannity Wednesday.

Previews of Palin's interviews with Oprah — where she said Levi Johnston is welcome for Thanksgiving and acknowledged that the Katie Couric interview wasn't her best —
and Walters — where she admitted that she didn't know her daughter Bristol was sexually active before her pregnancy — have already come out to massive media attention, with even more to come as the interviews roll out.

Palin's book is seen as the first step in a potential Presidential campaign, and her book tour will take her to several states that are traditionally battleground states in presidential elections.

"Sarah Palin's desire to settle old scores, while doing little to add to her credibility as a serious leader, does generously add to the on-going soap opera that is the Republican party. We wish her the best of luck on her tour," said DNC National Press Secretary Hari Sevugan.
