Sitting down with Sarah Silverman, she admitted to falling prey to a phenomenon we've all experienced: losing ourselves in our relationships with the person we perceive as the "love of our life". While it's easy to lose our independence when we feel secure with our longterm partners, Sarah and I both understand the importance of taking charge of your own happiness and being sure to maintain your personhood not only for the good of your relationship, but for your own mental and emotional well-being.
