With four kids (three girls, and one boy) finding great ways to save money on clothing is important, especially as we prepare for a change of season. Although this indecisive Ohio weather tends to give me a bit of wiggle room, eventually I have to take the plunge.

With families, like mine especially, between grandparents, aunts, uncles, and more you may have a lot of clothes that your children have outgrown, simply sitting around collecting dust. Swap With Your Friends
I swap with my sister-in-law, we both have girls around the same age, so it makes a lot of sense to swap a few times a year. It is a great way to refresh your child's wardrobe on a budget and swapping with friends and family means you have some kind of an idea of what you are getting and whether or not it is something you would be alright seeing your child in.
Make it even more interesting by hosting a get together and asking everyone to bring at least 10 pieces each.

Shop Ahead
End of season sales are a great way to shop ahead and save a few bucks. Jacqueline Curtis loves end-of-season sales because they happen a few months before the end of the actual season, meaning you can pick a larger size and allow your children to wear some of the pieces and store it all away at the end of the season.
