On Wednesday, Bay Area environmental volunteer organization, Save The Bay, released this year's Hotspot list -- a collection of the five Bay Area waterways worst polluted with plastic and garbage. While some of them may be expected (Baxter Creek in Richmond has experienced such extensive pollution that the local community has been banding together for years), others just might surprise you. So before you crack the cap on that water bottle (because Mama Earth knows you would never think about supporting plastic) take a good look at Save The Bay's Hotspot list below, and head to Save The Bay's website to find out how you can help.
