Save The Date: Museum Day, September 25, 2010

Over 1,300 museums are set to participate in this year's Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day. Started 6 years ago by Smithsonian Magazine to shed light on some oft-overlooked museums, both big and small, Museum Day offers free entry into an array of museums nationwide. Providing museum-goers with the perfect opportunity to check out that one random museum just outside town or to discover a museum that's flown too far under the radar, Museum Day is September 25th this year and our slideshow below highlights some of our picks.
