Adult Store Workers Throw Sex Toys To Scare Off Armed Robber

Staff at a California sex shop scared off an armed robber by throwing adult toys at his head.

Surveillance video shows how the two women forced the gun-toting man to flee empty-handed from Lotions & Lace in San Bernardino Wednesday evening.

One of the employees, identified only as Amy, told KABC-TV that she initially thought the man was “trying to be funny, to scare us” when he walked in brandishing what appeared to be a gun.

But upon noticing that it could be a fake firearm, she began screaming. When the man grabbed her arm, her colleague lobbed multiple sex toys at him and he soon ran off.

“I think he was a coward,” Amy’s unidentified coworker told KABC-TV. “Coming in and trying to get over on two females and not realizing that we’re pretty feisty.”

San Bernardino Police Department released footage of the attempted robbery on Thursday, with a screen grab of who it believes is the suspect standing outside the store beforehand. No arrests had been made as of Friday morning.
