Lost 'Shawshank Redemption' Deleted Scenes Are The Best Of Things

Fans of "The Shawshank Redemption" should get busy living by watching this unearthed making-of featurette that includes two scenes deleted from the beloved 1994 film. Uploaded to YouTube in August (and found via Reddit), the 10-minute package was taped off a 1995 broadcast of the Frank Darabont film on Showtime. Fun wonders to behold: stars Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman joking about the film's title, Darabont explaining the casting process, and the two excised scenes, one that focuses on Freeman's character, Red, following his release from prison. ("Not a brassiere to be seen. Nipples poking out at the world. Jesus pleasus.") The deleted scenes have been around for a while, but grab a bottle of suds and enjoy anyway.
