Kristen Wiig & Maddie Ziegler Turn Sia's Grammys Performance Into The Best 'SNL' Sketch Of The Year

Kristen Wiig Showed Up At The Grammys To Perform Sia's 'Chandelier'

Sia enlisted Kristen Wiig to perform "Chandelier" at the Grammys on Sunday, turning her performance into one of the night's best moments and the year's strangest and most enjoyable "Saturday Night Live" sketch that didn't air on "SNL."

After Shia LaBeouf introduced the performance by reading a hand-written poem, Sia faced a wall, while Wiig and Maddie Ziegler danced around a set on stage. The reclusive singer is known for concealing her face during live performances and giving the spotlight to Ziegler.

Wiig and Ziegler danced around in matching Sia platinum wigs and nude body suits, making it even better than the "Saturday Night Live" dance-off set to "Chandelier" last year. (That performance was done by Jim Carrey and cast member Kate McKinnon.)

Sia's "Chandelier," off her sixth album "1000 Forms of Fear," was the Australian singer's first single to chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It was also nominated at the Grammys for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. The music video, which featured Ziegler, was also nominated for Best Music Video. Despite the great performance, Sia went home empty handed.
