Skunk With Jar On Head Rescued By Brave Animal Patrol Officer (VIDEO)

In what could have been a disastrous event in Grand Junction Saturday, wildlife officials diffused an explosive situation involving a disoriented skunk and a peanut butter jar in a residential neighborhood. The Grand Junction Sentinel reports that Department of Wildlife officials were called at around 10:00 AM to respond to reports of a skunk with a jar on stuck its head.

According to a spokesman, officials fastened a noose to the end of a 6-foot pole, lassoed the jar and, working in tandem with the skunk, popped the empty jar off the confused animal.

Nobody was hurt (or sprayed) during the course of the rescue.
