'SNL' Reimagines A Realistic Magic Carpet Ride In 'Aladdin' Spoof

Shining, shimmering and not so splendid.

After brilliantly parodying Jasmine, Belle, Snow White and company in the "Disney Housewives" sketch back in 2012 ("I don't need to rub a lamp to get what I want"), "Saturday Night Live" took another swipe at your childhood this weekend with a spoof of Disney's "Aladdin."

"SNL" found the funny in reimagining what Jasmine and Aladdin's famous magic carpet ride would have actually been like if the two took to the skies today. Remember, realism wasn't the film's primary concern (Jasmine's BFFL was a tiger).

Romance is hard to salvage after Jasmine collides with a large bird, dodges a wayward bomb over Syria and gets drenched in airplane bathroom waste.
