David Bowie Used To Do Impressions Of His Fellow Musicians

His Springsteen is memorable.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery -- especially when it comes from David Bowie.

Mark Saunders, a sound engineer in August 1985 when Bowie walked into London's West Side Studios to work on the "Absolute Beginners" soundtrack, writes in the YouTube description that Bowie wrote lyrics for a Springsteen impersonation. Then the singer moved on to mimic other known performers.

He was quite the card.
