I am so excited to share with you my new column titled "Q10 (Ten Questions)".

Each week, I will feature fascinating people from the world's of fashion, architecture, design, culinary, entertainment, and sports.

I choose this format as it provides you with an insider's peek into what motivates and makes them the influencers that they are.

This week we're chatting with Soul Cycle founders Julie Rice and Elizabeth Cutler.

Julie Rice, Co-Founder Soul Cycle:

1.Whom do you credit for inspiring you to be the person you are today?

My husband Spencer. He has taught me to take deep breathes and live in the moment.

2. What is your favorite get-away-from-it-all destination?

Fire Island - being there is like turning back the hands of time. There are no cars and terrible phone service, kids ride bicycles and pull red wagons around the island to bring home groceries. It is the best place for me to spend quality time with my family

3. How do you define your personal style?

Sneaker Chic. I am a sneaker fanatic a can make the dressiest piece work with cool kicks.

Elizabeth Cutler, Co-Founder Soul Cycle:

1. Whom do you credit for inspiring you to be the person you are today?

My Mother. Everyone says that but still true for me. She started working at 40 and became the most successful real estate broker in Chicago for the next 25 years. She taught me to work hard and only burn bridges that don't go anywhere.

2. What is your favorite get-away-from-it-all destination?

Tulum, Mexico. It has the perfect euro-chic meets backpacker vibe with a Mayan backdrop. No shoes all week and great margaritas.

3. How do you define your personal style?

My kids tease me ALL I ever wear is black. After 12 years, I feel like a New Yorker, but will always have a splash of Telluride. Heels are still a challenge!
