As the seventh installment of the epic space saga "Star Wars" debuts in theaters around the world this week, let's take a look back at movie premieres of years past. The first "Star Wars" film premiered in 1977, and each event celebrating the following six films has been more impressive than the last.
No matter what decade, however, one thing connects all of the films in the franchise -- the unrivaled passion of the "Star Wars" fan community. Well, make that two things. Harrison Ford is still fine as hell.
