Steelers Accuse Ravens Of Targeting Linebacker

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison said last week that the NFL is targeting him for hard hitting. On Wednesday, Harrison and some of his teammates told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the Baltimore Ravens targeted him too.

Harrison was said to have accused Ravens offensive lineman Chris Chester of intentionally trying to injure him on an extra point attempt in Sunday night's game.

"Of course it was deliberate," Harrison reportedly said. "There's no way that happens on an extra point because [offensive linemen] don't shoot out. It's obvious it was blatant. It was on purpose."

Harrison's teammates, James Farrior and Brett Keisel, also said the play was intentional.

Art Rooney II, the Pittsburgh Steelers president, claimed on Friday that his team is being treated unfairly by the league.
