Stephen Colbert's Straight Sitcom 'Pussy Hound' With Eric McCormack (VIDEO)

WATCH: Colbert Fights Back Against 'Will & Grace' With 100% Straight Sitcom

When Joe Biden told David Gregory that he was comfortable with same sex marriage and that he felt "Will & Grace" had done a lot to educate people, it set off a media firestorm that, apparently, only Stephen Colbert has the hose to put out.

"The Report" host took matters into his own hands on Monday, fighting fire with fire by introducing a straight sitcom he wrote himself called, "Pussy Hound" (one character has a cat, one has a dog, hence the name). In an effort to battle the mainstream acceptance of "humorsexuals," Colbert's "Pussy Hound" follows straight guys doing straight guy things, like prowling for ladies and high-fiving.

And to help him workshop the pilot script, Colbert persuaded former "Will & Grace" star Eric McCormack to join him in a reading.

Check out the clip above and let us know if you think "Pussy Hound" has a chance at being greenlit.
