Stephen Collins Divorce: Actor, Faye Grant Ending 27-Year Marriage

'7th Heaven' Actor, Wife Splitting After 27 Years

After 27 years together, actor Stephen Collins has filed for divorce from his wife, Faye Grant, he confirmed in a statement to Us Weekly.

"My wife and I are moving forward separately in our lives, " he said. "She has been my dearest friend and a loving mother. I know that we'll go through this process in a way that honors our family."

Collins, 64, is best known for his 11-year role as Rev. Eric Camden on "7th Heaven," and was seen most recently on the big screen in "The Three Stooges." He and Grant married in 1985 and have one daughter, Kate.

Grant, who appeared on "V" and "State of Grace," seems blindsided by Collins' divorce filing, telling E! News, "Stephen's filing for divorce is a surprise. I am devastated."

While Collins' marriage may be over, his former co-stars are celebrating happier times. His former on-screen daughter, Jessica Biel, is reportedly planning a wedding with her longtime beau, Justin Timberlake, and Barry Watson, who played the eldest of the fictional Camden kids, recently announced he's expecting his third child.
