Steve-O Released From Jail After 8 Hours, Still Thinks 'Sea World Sucks'

The "Jackass" was serving time for an anti-Sea World stunt.

Looks like Steve-O had a "get out of jail (nearly) free" card.

The "Jackass" star, also known as Stephen Glover, was released from Twin Towers Correctional Facility after spending less than eight hours in the LA county jail. The 41-year-old was supposed to serve time for pulling an anti-Sea World stunt in August. (He had scaled a crane, set off fireworks and inflated an orca-shaped balloon with "#SeaWorldSucks" printed on it.)

The entertainer shot a video before heading to the jail on Wednesday, which showed him do a backflip off the sign in typical Steve-O fashion:

Here I am at jail. See ya when I see ya, folks! #yeahdude #SeaWorldSucks

Steve-O later posted a photo with his precious pooch after being released.

"After taking a hilarious mug shot," he wrote, "I wound up spending less than eight hours in jail. Thanks to all of the good people at Twin Towers Correctional Facility for making my stay a great one."

Steve-O's sentence had initially called for him to pay the city $14,000 for its emergency response and serve 30 days in jail. He took to Instagram after the sentencing, saying he welcomed getting locked up.

"Considering I've become a clean and sober, dog-rescuing vegan, I must say I'm ready to go to jail -- not just because it will bring so much attention to the plight of orcas in captivity, but because it's nice to let people know I haven't lost my edge," he wrote. "What can I say, I'm a jackass. My whole crane-climbing, fireworks debacle really turned out to be pretty meaningful in the end, too. I mean, if your goal is to make a statement about captivity, you may as well get yourself locked up!"
