Award-winning animated shorts are rarely seen outside of the festivals where the awards get handed out. That's part of why Alexandra Hetmerova's film "Swimming Pool" is such a treat. The charming six and a half minute short about an unlikely connection between two nighttime swimmers has been a festival darling since 2010, when Hetmerova debuted it as a fresh graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. This week, the Czech animator shared her work on Vimeo for the public to see. Take a look below.
