'The Amazing Race 21' Finale: Did The Beekman Boys, Twins, Texas, Or Chippendales Win? (VIDEO)

Who Won 'The Amazing Race 21'?

If ever there was a clear underdog in any season finale of "The Amazing Race" it was the Beekman Boys in Season 21. They'd never won a leg of the race, and more significantly, the other three teams they were racing against were in an alliance with one another. The Beekman boys were on their own, and they would have to come together in a way they'd never done before.

The first hour saw them sneak past the twins Nadiya and Natalie, earning a spot in the Final Three. Then, they got home field advantage as the final destination was their home city of New York. But in the end, it came down to remembering how each country they'd visited said "hello" and "goodbye." While the other teams went with a random approach, the Beekmans turned it from a language exercise into a mathematical one.

That strategy worked, as they were the first ones done. And then, they miraculously didn't get lost on their way to the final map, as they'd done so many times on the race, and actually secured a shocking first place finish. The other competitors were stunned to see Josh and Brent cross that line ahead of Jaymes and James and Trey and Lexie.

The Beekman Boys dedicated their wins to all the underdogs out there, hoping they could motivate people to believe. As Josh put it, "If they just keep going and just keep working as hard as they can ... at some point you will win."
