'The Office': Clark Duke In Talks For Season 9 Reboot

Is 'The Office' Reboot Getting A New Star?

"The Office" Season 9 reboot is taking shape. According to TVLine, "Greek" grad Clark Duke in talks to join the series as a regular.

Duke, who recently popped up on "New Girl," spent four seasons on ABC Family's "Greek" as Dale Kettlewell. TVLine reports Duke would play a new employee of Dunder Mifflin.

Prior to renewal, rumors swirled that Season 9 of NBC's "The Office" could serve as a reboot of the long-running comedy, introducing new characters as veteran actors exit the series.

Mindy Kaling has left "The Office" to star in her own Fox show "The Mindy Project." B.J. Novak will no longer appear as a series regular -- he may recur -- and James Spader has also left the show. Behind the scenes, Paul Lieberstein, who played Toby and served as "The Office" showrunner, is leaving. Lieberstein is leaving to focus on the Dwight spin-off starring Rainn Wilson. "Office" mainstays Ed Helms and John Krasinski may also appear in fewer episodes to accommodate their film roles.

"The Office" returns to NBC on Thurs., Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. ET. Find out which other shows will be back by clicking through the slideshow below.
