A Sickening Hint You Missed In The 'Walking Dead' Season 7 Sneak Peek

Welcome back to pee-pee pants city.
AMC

A bunch of people were upset about “The Walking Dead” Season 6 finale, and a bunch more may have upset stomachs after this.

However you felt about the cliffhanger at the end of Season 6, it’s difficult not to get excited after the newly released sneak peek of the Season 7 premiere. In the clip, we see the aftermath of Negan’s kill. Like actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan, said in a recent interview, “It’s f**king brutal.”

It’s also f**king disgusting.

You might have to take a shower after watching the teaser to make sure there aren’t brain bits on you. (Gross, dude.) There’s also one thing you might’ve missed that seems to give a major hint about the victim.

Check out the sneak peek one more time to see if you can spot it:

OK, did you see that? Maybe you’re one of the people who are already privy to the possible clue.

After Rick gets dragged away by Negan, the camera pans down and we see the mess that used to be one of your favorite characters. A garment is lying on the ground, which appears to be what Daryl was wearing, but that clue is so obvious that it’s probably meant to throw us off.

However, in the blood and bone, it appears there could be a sickening hint of who was on the receiving end of Negan’s bat.

In the right hand corner, you can see what looks like Maggie’s engagement ring.

A Reddit user uploaded screen shots of the scene, speculating that what we see in the bottom right is Maggie’s ring. The Redditor also uploaded an image of the ring from a previous season:

Looks pretty similar.

If this is Maggie’s ring, it’s basically confirmation that we’re saying goodbye to Maggie or Glenn in the Season 7 premiere. Maggie could’ve dropped the ring on Glenn after Negan’s attack, or it could just be that Maggie is the one who doesn’t make it.

It’s worth noting that the line Negan says — “Was the joke that bad?” — is a line directly from the comic series. In fact, a lot of the scene is word-for-word from the books, so that’s a big hint that we’re losing Glenn. (Glenn is Negan’s victim in the comic.)

There are also rumors that multiple people are killed in the episode, so what if it’s both Maggie and Glenn?

We’ll find out in the Season 7 premiere.

“The Walking Dead” returns Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. ET.
