Half of buyers of Internet-ready TVs are connecting to the Internet, video consumption on mobile devices for big publishers like iVillage is quickly increasing, linear television is inexorably moving online and to mobile devices, Madison Avenue is moving beyond pre-roll to interactive ads, and big publishers including AOL and MSNBC.com are finding new ways to connect their content with audiences outside of their giant destination sites via innovative syndication and discovery strategies.
These are some of the topics covered in the Beet.TV Video Strategy Summit held at Bloomberg headquarters last week.
Here at Beet.TV, since way back in 2006, we have been exploring "root of the media revolution," the incredible transformation of digital video. This is the most dynamic period we have seen.
We have assembled the five, individual panels in this video player. To select a session to view, use your cursor to scroll up or down. Below is a list of the sessions and the speakers. Thanks to Erick Schonfeld, co-editor of TechCrunch for helping me moderate.
Thanks to Bloomberg for hosting us and to Ooyala and to Yume for being our presenting sponsors. And, thanks for Ooyala for publishing the conference video on their snazzy player.
