Tim Duncan Blocks Kevin Durant In Spurs-Thunder Game (VIDEO)

Duncan Denies Durant Dunk

The Big Fundamental struck again on Thursday night and the Oklahoma City Thunder couldn't stop him.

In the span of just 15 seconds in the first quarter, Tim Duncan recorded two of his three blocks against the Thunder, the second of which came against three-time scoring champ Kevin Durant.

With Kawhi Leonard down underneath the basket after turning the ball over, the Thunder tried to capitalize with a 5-on-4 advantage. Durant got the ball on the right wing and had an open lane to attack the basket. But Duncan tracked him down. Durant went up for the monster one-handed dunk and despite him getting in front of Duncan, the 15-year veteran rejected the shot from behind.

Later in the second quarter, Duncan showed off on offense with a one-handed dunk over Serge Ibaka (first team All-Defense last year).

Duncan finished with 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocks while Tony Parker lifted the Spurs to victory with the first buzzer-beater of the season.
