Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Wednesday night speaking about Chuck Norris, his favorite movies, football and to promote his new autobiographical book, “Through My Eyes.”

Kimmel was impressed by Tebow’s ability to write such a book at a young age of 24, but was most impressed by Tebow getting a blurb on the back of his book from Chuck Norris. Tebow explains his relationship to Norris, “When I first won the Heisman Trophy my sophomore year, someone came up and gave me a letter that [Norris] had given them to give to me, and it was a super nice letter, encouraging me, and ever since then we’ve had a relationship,” Tebow recalls.

Tebow also discusses his huge passion for the “Rocky” movies, especially Rocky IV which influenced his training. “I’m a huge Rocky fan, especially Rocky IV, when he destroys Ivan Drago, I mean that was pretty awesome” Tebow says lightheartedly. “I loved his training regimen, you know, I lived out on a farm, so I would go out and cut down a log and put it on my back like him and I would do the lunges. I would hang upside down on a bar and do the abs like he did.”

Kimmel asks Tebow if he thinks there will even be a football season this year with the lockout still in full swing, to which Tebow replies, “I’m feeling very confident, I think they are working on it and getting closer. Hopefully by the beginning of July we’ll be able to work something out.”
