Top 10 NBA Sixth Men: Jamal Crawford And Jarrett Jack Thriving

It takes both a certain player and person to excel as a sixth man. While coaches will often preach about how it's not who starts a game, but rather who finishes it, coming off the bench can still remain an ego hit. The distinct advantage though, and the reason why guys like Jamal Crawford and Manu Ginobili thrive in the role, is that it can mean the difference between being the third option -- as a starter -- or the first option as a reserve.

This season, Crawford has been straight auto-buckets for the Clippers. His nearly 17 points per game lead all non-starters, while his fearless style of scoring has been a necessity in either replacing Chris Paul as a lead guard or playing alongside him off the ball.

Another veteran guard who has found great success in the role is 29-year-old Jarrett Jack, who has arguably been the most efficient reserve in the league. Jack, who has routinely knocked down clutch shots for the Warriors all season long, recently became the NBA's first player to come off the bench and notch at least 23 points and eight assists in consecutive games since Clyde Drexler accomplished the feat for Portland during the 1985-86 season.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the league's top 10 sixth men this year.
