Tracy McGrady On NBA Owners' Proposal: 'It's Really Bull'

T-Mac's Message For NBA Owners

The NFL isn't the only league dealing with a lockout. The labor negotiations between NBA owners and players will begin in a few months and Tracy McGrady has a message for the owners.

In an interview with Vincent Goodwill of The Detroit News, the 13-year veteran voiced his opinion on the meeting during the All-Star break and the owners' proposal.

"The proposal that they have out here for us, it's really bull," McGrady said. "Some of the owners, Lakers owner Jerry Buss, the big-market owners, they don't want a scale-down."

McGrady also pointed out the enormous contracts handed out during last year's offseason, along with the fact that the owners claimed that they lost up to $400 million at the same time.

"We're gonna have to give up something to gain a little bit," he said. "But it can't sway that much into the owners' favor where we're losing out big time."
