Tse Chen Ling Moving, Buddhist Temple Hits The Market (PHOTOS)

UPDATE: The Tse Chen Ling Center contacted The Huffington Post and reported that the organization has no plans of disbanding. "We've rented [the space] for 9 years and have chosen not to renew our lease," wrote Tse Chen Ling Spokesperson Lobsang Chökyi in an email. "Our organization is still solid. We are choosing to find a non-residential location for less rent, more parking and a larger event space."

On Sunday, Haighteration reported that the Tse Chen Ling Center for Tibetan Buddhist Studies had listed its 7,000-square-foot live/work center for rent on Craigslist, signaling what perhaps may be a shift in the 22-year-old organization. Tse Chen Ling did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Huffington Post, but according to Hill and Co. Real Estate, the company moderating the lease, the future of the organization is unknown.

But every cloud does have a silver lining: Tse Chen Ling's enormous Victorian mansion perched on Oak and Webster is now for rent.

Inside the building are eight bedrooms, seven-and-a-half baths, seven fireplaces, a commercial kitchen and one small prep kitchen, formal dining rooms and a bowling alley. (Seriously.) Outside is a yard and patio, and parking for four cars.

"It's an extraordinary building," said Hill and Co. Realtor Kilby Stenkamp to HuffPost. "I would love to live there."

According to Stenkamp, the home would be perfect for an innovative workspace and has already been courted by a few interested parties. "It would work for a tech company, a doctors' office -- anything low-impact or a business/residential combination," she said.

But though the building may be most practical as a commercial space, the ample bedrooms and bathrooms could potentially mean one of the sweetest shares we've seen yet. And for $13,000 split between eight rooms, seven bathrooms and four parking spots, it might be cheaper than just about anywhere else in the city.
